I am a fully qualified, registered and insured Clinical Hypnotherapist. I carry the coveted Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD), awarded by the NCFE. To support my HPD, I have also undertaken professional training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Wellness Coaching and Stress Management.
I am a registered member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH, No7233), which governs and regulates Hypnotherapy Practitioners.
I received the Certificate In Nutrition for Health and fitness from Premier Training 2004.
I am also a fully qualified, registered and insured level 4 Exercise Professional specialising in cardiac rehabilitation and chronic illness. I am a member of the Register for Exercise Professional (REPs, No R0020105) and a member of the British Association for Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation (BACPR).
I have previously worked for the NHS as a rehabilitation exercise professional in both Worcester and Kidderminster hospitals and still run a few private group exercise clinics at Kidderminster Hospital.
In 2017 I became involved with NHS England’s National Diabetis Prevention Programme as a Health & Wellbeing Coach, offering advice, support and guidance on lifestyle change.
I have dealt with thousands of people over the years, whether in a group, clinic, or one to one, in either an exercise, nutrition, Hypnotherapy or wellbeing coaching environment. I now combine all my years and levels of experience to work with people in making and sustaining the positive and healthy changes they want to, to improve the quality of their life…..in any area of their life.
After receiving hypnotherapy treatment at various times in my life to help manage and cope with circumstantial stress related problems, i became amazed at the the difference hypnotherapy made to my emotional state and overall wellbeing. How i see hypnotherapy and coaching is……I new what i had to do and new what i wanted to do….but i couldn’t quite do it! Hypnotherapy and coaching just brought out my own potential from within.
I soon realised that the majority of people i have come across over the years, that haven’t managed to keep their “weight off”, “stick to their exercise routine” or “cope with daily stress and anxiety”, needed more help than just a “diet”, “exercise programme” “motivation” or a “few words of encouragement”. I could see that adherence was just a big a problem as implementing, any changes. They needed something much more.
Most barriers and obstacles to change are from within. I use a combination of Hypnotherapy, NLP and coaching, alongside my experience of helping people with exercise and nutrition, to overcome these obstacles smash down their barriers.
My work is my vocation, i am passionate about what i do, i aim to inspire and motivate anyone who genuinely wishes to improve the quality of their life, health and wellbeing.
How we think, what we eat and how we move…. determines how we live. How long we live is not always in our control, but how we live is…. so I believe in adding life to your years over adding years to your life!
